1) Age and Gender
These are the two most important things that you should keep in mind before you buy the present. You must know if it is a boy or a girl even if most of the things used by baby boys and girls are the same. The problem is with the color. It is very important to ask about the age of the baby too because you might give something that is too big for the baby especially if these are clothes. 2) Needs and Wants

This is because these babies have yet no idea what the word need and want mean and how they differ from one another. As you grow up, you will learn that needs are better than wants.
