You also have to think about the babies needs. It is not all about what the baby can wear but what the baby can use too like for instance, the baby can use some bib when eating. The baby can also make use of some towel for bathing or for when traveling. Smaller towels are very much needed too by babies for their sweat or even dirty hands.
You can also give disposable clothing like diapers. You might think that this is inappropriate to give but you will never know the importance of diapers unless you have a baby. It is better to give something that can be used than give something too dainty that the baby does not really need. Giving diapers can ease the trouble of parents because it is quite expensive too nowadays.
2) Protection
Other new born baby gifts you can give would be for the protection of the baby. For instance, you can give umbrellas because the baby needs this especially when it is too sunny outside or even at night when there’s too much fog.
